Lark Song Counseling LLC is a small group practice that works with all ages but is best known for the work we do with children under the age of 11. We are a practice that values learning and training new clinicians to work with the younger populations to feed resources into our community for the most vulnerable including the LGBTQA+ community. We help train graduate student interns, provide clinical supervision to associates and proudly sustain our licensed employees through a balance of autonomy and support.

Child/Adolescent Mental Health Therapist (Associates and Licensed)

 

​Clinicians are provided their own fully equipped office designed for all ages in therapy. Rooms are supplied for play therapy, sand tray therapy, as well talk therapy space for adolescents and adults. A group room is also on site. Therapists are supported by a fulltime in-house administrator who does all billing and intake screening.

We have both full-time and part-time options. A full-time position comes with generous benefits. Full-time is a minimum of 22 billable client hours a week. Part-time is considered below 22 hrs but cannot be less than 12hrs a week. Pay is based on a specific hourly structure with no wait for commission and insurance to process your clients claims! Compensation is based on years of Post graduate clinical experience, education and training in Child based therapies (i.e. play therapy, sand tray, etc.) and years of being licensed.

Job Description-

  • Provide individual, family, and group counseling services to adults, teens, and children.

  • Utilize play therapy and trauma-informed care approaches.

  • Understanding in child and adolescent diagnoses of anxiety, depression, and neurodivergence.

  • Develop and implemented treatment plans tailored to meet clients' unique needs and goals.

  • Able to communicate regularly and confidently with clients and families.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records.

  • Understanding of ethics and laws for insurance billing compliance.

  • Collaborate with other professionals to provide comprehensive care.

  • Maintain healthy work boundaries and self-care

  • Soft Skills: Communication (Written and Verbal), Empathy, Interpersonal Skills, Active Listening, Problem-Solving, Collaboration, Cultural Sensitivity, Rapport Building, Time Management, Organization
